Privacy Policy

butlerLink is the data controller for personal data you provide when using the site.

Account data (email, authentication identifiers), profile data you choose to add (name, headline, location, work history, education, skills), messages and connections, job posts and applications, and any CV files you upload. We also collect basic technical logs needed to run the service securely.

To operate your profile and the network, to show your profile to other members according to your visibility setting, to process job applications, and to run verification checks you request. Your account email is never displayed publicly on your profile.

You control your profile visibility (public, connections-only, or private). Public profiles may be indexed by search engines with personal details limited to your name, headline, location and skills. Full detail (bio, employers, education, references) is shown only to your accepted connections. CV files you attach to an application are shared with that job's poster only.

Data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure (D1 database and R2 object storage for CV files). We retain data for as long as your account is active.

You can view and edit your profile at any time, change its visibility, or request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. You may also request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
